The work begins
with you.
Most facilitator trainings teach you what to do in ceremony. This one starts somewhere else — with who you are, what you carry, and what happens in your own nervous system when someone in front of you is in difficulty.
You cannot hold what you have not met. That is not a philosophical position. It is practical. A facilitator who has not done their own shadow work will, consciously or not, avoid it in the people they sit with.
The Psychedelic Spaceholder Training at Mother’s House is a year-long residential and supervised programme leading to formal authorisation as a Mother’s House Space Holder. It is held by The Medicine Tribe, rooted in the Shipibo lineage, and draws on IFS (parts work), somatic approaches, transpersonal psychology, and eight years of lived ceremony facilitation.

The training container itself is medicine-free. Plant medicine ceremony is available as a separate add-on through retreats at Mother’s House — before, during, or after the integration year, as each person feels ready.
This training is held exclusively at Mother’s House — the land, the space, and the lineage are part of what is transmitted.

The Unbecoming
The formation begins with meeting yourself. Three days at Mother’s House. The facilitator lens is woven through all three modules — but the work is personal first.
Module 1 — The Body Remembers · Nervous system, somatic foundations, polyvagal theory. Your own patterns as a facilitator.
Module 2 — Walking with the Shadow · Shadow work, countertransference in ceremony. What you carry into the room.
Module 3 — The Child Within · Inner child, IFS (parts work). The material that activates when you hold another person’s process.
The Becoming
After a full year of integration and supervision, The Becoming moves through the final two modules and closes with the authorisation conversation.
Module 4 — The Voice of the Soul · The lineage, what is transmitted rather than taught. Coming into relationship with what you carry as a holder.
Module 5 — The Sacred Container · Ceremony facilitation in practice. Ethics, professional limits, supervised sit-ins. Formal authorisation.

Not yet a professional practitioner but clearly called to hold space in this field. Willing to do the inner work first, to learn slowly, and to be honest about what they don’t yet know.
Experienced Participants
Have done significant personal work including plant medicine experience. Feel a growing pull toward holding others. Ready to cross the threshold from participant to holder.

The training runs in cohorts of maximum 10 people. Two cohorts are currently forming. All residentials take place at Mother’s House, Weert.
